Welcome to the Jubilee Furniture blog where each week I show you some of our current inventory with the hopes we have whatever you’re looking for and you decide to stop in and see the item in person and…buy it! With every sale helping to support the programs and services at Outreach Community Ministries – your purchase goes a lot farther then you might realize!
When we moved into our building last March – we knew we needed more space for both our showroom and the warehouse. Construction started in the fall to enclose the overhang on the west side of the building and every week or so I’ve been showing you photos of the progress.
And boy-oh-boy – look where we’re at this week! Walls are up, dry-walled and even painted! Windows are in and this space will be flooded with natural light! We can’t wait to start using this roughly 3,000 square foot addition because the 17,000 square feet we currently have isn’t enough for all our amazing inventory.
Speaking of our current inventory – remember the Furniture Gallery is an online resource for taking a look at what’s available (and there are cool sorting tabs) as well as here! So, let’s get started.
gorgeous Hufford Furniture Co. sofa in excellent condition! Priced $265
I THINK this Ethan Allen chair and ottoman are leather – but I’m not 100% sure. Regardless, at $95 for something in great condition – it’s a bargain!
this lovely, deep purple micro-suede sofa is beautiful! Excellent condition and priced $325
lovely muted green sofa in good shape – priced $115
these Leather Center pieces, I know, are leather! Black leather loveseat for $145; matching sofa for $165 (a little wear on the sofa)
sweet pine writing desk for $65 (missing one knob)
really nice Alan White gray sofa for $65; glass and metal coffee table for $75; matching Alan White oversize chaise for $55 (small rip on one arm of the chaise); matching glass and metal end table for $45 and there are two of them (both priced $45)
though it needs some work restoring the finish – this walnut drop leaf table for $65 is worth the effort!
if you’ve ever wanted a conversation starting, one-of-a-kind piece of furniture – this large table lamp fits the bill! Priced $45 (love the cherub peeking around the base). Just wish I’d had time to plug it in so I could see how it looked with the light shining through the blue glass!
now you see it – now you don’t! Even the chair back folds down and fits inside this amazing computer/work space! In great shape. Priced $175
sunny yellow loveseat that opens into a bed! Needs to be cleaned. Priced $45
excellent condition mission style sofa for $145
starting with the trestle table – both ends have a leaf that pulls out and up – solid wood construction – needs to be refinished – priced $135. Then take a look at the six chairs around the table. Made by Dinaire Furniture of Buffalo, NY. An online resource I found describes a set they had as follows:
“Set of six modern spindle back casual dining chairs, with nods to both Nakashima and Wegner. Seats are a shovel design, with spindles turned to resemble cattails. Very well made with one piece curved back frames and made of oak in a nice tobacco finish.”
The six we have need to be cleaned, certain spindles need to be re-glued, maybe refinish all six – but the design is crazy amazing and at $120 for the set – what a deal!
at 8’ long and 30” deep this credenza would provide a ton of storage and it looks great too! One water stain on the top that needs work. Priced $135 (there’s an odd piece of glass sitting on top that isn’t part of the credenza)
lovely antique cabinet – priced $65
this one piece open shelf china cabinet is begging for a make-over – but it has great bones and would look AMAZING once painted/antiqued/striped and stained! Priced $55
gorgeous king-size metal head board, foot board and side rails – priced $225 (mattress and box springs sold separately)
sweet four drawer small dresser with pull out shelf (Bombay Co?) – priced $45
tile top table w/1 leaf and six chairs – all in good condition – priced $95
Until next week, dear reader! God bless you and keep you.
